The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released the Draft Telecommunication Mobile Number Portability (Ninth Amendment) Regulations, 2023, inviting comments from stakeholders. These regulations, initially established in 2009, provide the framework for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) in India. Considering suggestions from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), TRAI is seeking input on proposed amendments.
