Shri Tarun Bajaj IAS (Haryana 1988) presently Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, has been appointed as Director on the Central Board of Reserve Bank of India with immediate effect vice Shri Atanu Chakraborty IAS.Shri Tarun Bajaj was the Additional Secretary in Prime Minister’s Office Before joining the Prime Minister’s Ofce in 2015, Bajaj was Joint Secretary in Economic Affairs Department, looking after multilateral funding agencies division. Shri Bajaj worked as Joint Secretary and Director in the Department of Financial Services.
