T V Somanathan, senior IAS officer has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office,till August 5, 2017.Somanathan, a 1987 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, at present working as Director, Joint Secretary level, in the World Bank in Washington since May 12, 2011.
