In the social sector, his tenure as Commissioner, Health & Family Welfare added depth to his experience in public service delivery systems. He also served as Secretary, Planning, Programme Monitoring & Statistics Department, and Secretary, Hyderabad Karnataka Area Development Board, where regional development planning and monitoring were central to his responsibilities.
At the regional level, Shri Yadav served as Regional Commissioner, Gulbarga Division, overseeing land administration and coordination across districts—an assignment that required both strategic oversight and operational sensitivity.
His transition to the Government of India marked a significant phase in his career. From February 2020 to August 2024, he served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.
