The Ministry of Steel has achieved notable success in addressing public grievances from November 2022 to August 2023. They resolved 854 public grievances, 126 appeals, 118 references from MPs, 3 Parliamentary Assurances, 3 State Government References, and 4 PMO References. Additionally, the Ministry of Steel implemented e-office 7.0, a comprehensive digital workplace solution for government offices. This initiative aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in government transactions, ultimately leading to higher productivity.

Regarding the ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ observed from March 16th to 31st, 2023, both the Ministry of Steel and the public sector undertakings under its purview, including SAIL, NMDC, RINL, KIOCL, MOIL, MECON, MSTC & FSNL, actively participated. They undertook various activities such as administering the Swachhata pledge, conducting cleanup drives in townships, factories, nearby villages/slums, tidying up schools they run or have adopted under the Swachh Vidyalaya program, and raising awareness about reducing the use of single-use plastic.
