Minister for Development of North Eastern Region Shri G. Kishan Reddy has informed that Under the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS), financial assistance is provided to enhance tourism through physical infrastructure projects relating to water supply, power and connectivity; and to upgrade social infrastructure for primary and secondary education and health. The sector-wise details of projects approved for funding in North Eastern States under NESIDS are as under:-
