Shri Shravan Kumar IRS(IT 1991) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of combined seven years upto 07.06.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Shri Pankaj Rag IAS (Madhya Pradesh 1990).
Shri Shravanserved for the Government of India since 1991 as Asstt. Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Commissioner and Additional Commissioner of Income Tax. Shri Shravan been promoted as Commissioner of Income Tax since February, 2014 and been drawing the scale on a non-functional basis since November, 2012. Shri Shravan earlier have also worked as P.S. to Union Minister of State for Agro & Rural Inclination in 2002-03. Since 2012, worked as Chief Executive Officer, Children’s Film Society, India till date. In the revenue department, international finance and taxation especially Transfer Pricing has been my forte and area of specialisation.
