In a IPS movement in Tripura, the BJP Govt led by Biplab Deb has reshuffled seven Officers with Joydeep Nayak 1991 batch presently posted as IGP (HG) with additional charge of IGP(Legal Matter) has been transferred as IGP- (Training) with additional charge as IG-(HG & Legal Matter) while V S Yadav of 1987 batch presently DG- Fire Services , Tripura is relieved from the additional charge of DG -(Crime Branch), Puneet Rastogi 1995 recently coming back from central deputation has been appointed as IGP-(Crime Branch).
Goduguluri Srinivasa Rao of 1999 batch presently IGP-(TSR & Ops) Tripura has been relieved from the additional charge of IGP(Training), Anish Prasad 2003 batch has been appointed as DIGP(AP), after return from central deputation. Saptarshi Abhijit Jaikrishna 2008 presently SP (SB) has been given additional charge of SP- Vigilance), Tripura while Pradip De of 2009 presently SP- (Vigilance) has been attached to the Police HQ.
