Shri Satinder Pal Singh IPS (Himachal Pradesh 1996) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Shipping, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of overall five years up to 25.11.2020 vice Shri Barun Mitra IAS (MN 1987).
