Shri Sathya Prakash Tucker IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1981) presently posted as Special Chief Secretary, Planning Department Government of Andhra Pradesh is likely to be appointed as Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh.
His Indian bureaucracy career started in 1983 as Assistant collector and since then he has handled many important portfolios at state and central cadre being Collector – Rangareddy (1988-90), Project Coordinator- U.N. Dev Programme (UNDP) (1994-96), Spl Chief Secy and Development Commissioner-Planning Dept (2010-12), and Agriculture Production Commissioner since 2015.
He has also been Commissioner in Rural Development department, Principal Secretary in Irrigation & Command Area Development Department and Chairman in Water Resources Department Godawari Valley Development Authority.
Shri Sathya Prakash Tucker is a graduate in science and law and has done his PG in Law.
