Shri Rajeev Mehrotra, CMD (RITES) received the Niryat Shree Gold Trophy from the Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee for the highest engineering goods exports done in the non MSME category. RITES was the only PSU among the 41 recipients of this award. The awards were given by the Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) under the Ministry of Commerce in the national capital on May 4, 2016.
RITES is the nominated agency of Indian Railways for export of rolling stock manufactured at the Production Units of Indian Railways. RITES also takes up various consultancy works outside India in Railways, Highways, Airports and Ports sector.
