Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad IAS (Assam Meghalya  1990) presently  Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change has been given extension of Central deputation tenure of for a period of one year beyond 17.02.2018.

Shri Prasad served Commissioner & Secretary of Finance at the Government of Assam, India. Shri. Prasad served as Managing Director of Assam Financial Corporation since August 28, 2008 and Director of Assam Financial Corporation. He serves as Director at Assam Industrial Development Corporation Ltd.
