S Rajasekhar IFS appointed DFO – Nalgonda, Telangana
Shri S Rajasekhar IFS (Telangana 2020), upon promotion to the Indian Forest Service of the Telangana Cadre, and presently posted as Deputy Conservator of Forests / District Forest Officer, Vigilance-II, Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana, Hyderabad, has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer – Nalgonda, Telangana.
An officer of the 2020 batch of the Telangana cadre, Shri S Rajasekhar has been promoted to the Indian Forest Service of the Telangana Cadre. He has been serving as Deputy Conservator of Forests/District Forest Officer, Vigilance-II, in the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana, Hyderabad.
His present assignment has provided him with experience in the headquarters-level functioning of the Forest Department and vigilance-related responsibilities. The role involves coordination and supervision of departmental matters within the relevant vigilance structure.
Following his promotion to the Indian Forest Service, Shri Rajasekhar has now been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer, Nalgonda.
The new assignment places him in an important field-level responsibility involving supervision of forest administration, conservation and protection activities across the district. As DFO, he will also oversee field formations and coordinate with other government agencies on matters relating to forest management and environmental protection.
His experience in the vigilance structure of the Forest Department is expected to be valuable in his new district-level assignment. The posting marks an important transition from headquarters responsibilities to direct field administration.
The appointment represents a significant new responsibility following his promotion to the Indian Forest Service and provides Shri Rajasekhar an opportunity to contribute his administrative and professional experience to forest governance in Nalgonda.
