Shri Rakesh Kanwar IAS (Himacha Pradesh 2007) presently Director, Rural Dev. & Panchayati Raj-cum-ex-officio Special Secretary (Rural Dev. & Panchayati Raj) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, has been appointed as Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, relieving Shri Devesh Kumar, IAS (HP:1998) of this additional charge. He will also hold additional charge of the post of State Project Director, Zero Budget Natural Farming under the Department of Agriculture, Himachal Pradesh.
