Shri Rajesh Ranjan IPS (Bihar 1984) presently CVO, Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL) has been appointed Additional Director General,BSF upto 21.08.2019
Mr. Rajesh Ranjan serves as the Chief Vigilance Officer of GAIL (India) Limited. Mr. Ranjan has twenty eight years of experience in law enforcement which includes field policing and senior supervisory level postings in Bihar, a seven year tenure as SP and DIG in various units of the Central Bureau of Investigation at Delhi and a five year tenure as Assistant Director, Financial and High Tech Crime Sub Directorate at the Interpol General Secretariat, Lyon, France. He is widely travelled, has lectured extensively and conducted numerous training sessions on behalf of Interpol, IMF, US Department of Treasury and the European Commission on financial investigations, money laundering and terrorism financing for audiences which include representatives from law enforcement, banking experts and Financial Intelligence Units based in Eastern Europe, China and South America. He holds an MA in English.
