Shri R.N. Misra, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN Limited has been honored with Award for CEO with HR Orientation. World HRD Congress presented these awards to recognize and appreciate the talented individuals in the industry. On this occasion, Shri R.N. Misra, CMD, SJVN informed that SJVN is implementing various innovative HR strategies in the Company including revisiting the vision, mission and ojective of SJVN. Moreover effective implementation of Balanced Scorecard to achieve organizational targets has resulted in Excellent MOU rating for the past three years.
Shri Misra further added that Government of India has assigned SJVN the MoU target of cumulative generation of 8520 Million Units of electricity from 1500 MW NJHPS, 412 MW RHPS and 47.6 MW Khirvire Wind Power Project
for the FY 2015-16. Which has been achieved in the Month of December 2015, achieving annual target more than three months earlier to its target date has setup new benchmarks in the field of electricity generation.
SJVN is implementing 12 other projects in Nepal, Bhutan, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Gujarat and Maharashtra. SJVN which has already diversified in the field of Wind Power, Thermal Power and Power Transmission is presently generating 2000 MW of electricity.
