Indian Bureaucracy PSU News | In order to promote Vigilance Awareness and strengthening the preventive vigilance mechanism, a function was held at PNB Corporate Office, Dwarka, New Delhi. The ceremony chaired by Hon’ble Central Vigilance Commissioner, Shri Sharad Kumar along with Shri P Daniel, Additional Secretary, CVC as Special guest had other activities such as inauguration of e-pledge Mission, social outreach through technological platforms for promoting the central theme of “Integrity – A way of Life”, the bank introduced technology based solutions through an online Preventive Vigilance (PV) portal, which is the first of its kind.
The PV portal will facilitate all staff members across the organization to make invaluable contribution to arrest the procedural lapses, unhealthy practices and will usher in coherent climate conducive to the banking for the modern age. This portal will bring in efficiency and promote quality in operations at the forefront and will make every PNBian a “Vigilant PNBian”.
Speaking at the occasion, the PNB MD & CEO- Shri Sunil Mehta highlighted the importance of integrity for quality of business and in turn promoting peace and prosperity in the society. Efforts being made by PNB in order to propagate “Integrity – A way of Life” were also highlighted with the vote of thanks being proposed by Shri V K Tyagi, CVO, PNB.
