PIB News Update: On the occasion of celebrating 75 years of Independence ‘ Azadi Ka Amrut Mahostav’ Regional Outreach Bureau Hyderabad organised a photo exhibition today at CGO Towers Kavadiguda.
Smt Madhavi Devi, Judicial Member of Income Tax Appellate and Tribunal lighted the lamp inaugurated the exhibition. Speaking on the event Madhavi Devi said that the idea of conducting such exhibitions and programmes helps to instill a sense of pride and helps us to Emphasis on India’s glorious history and culture.
Addressing the program Shri S.Venkateswar PIB, Director General, South said that today 12th March is a special day in India’s glorious history as in 1930, as on this day the iconic Dandi March led by Mahatma Gandhi began. He said exhibition inaugurated showcased the events highlighting the role of freedom fighters in the freedom movement and its journey in the last 75 years.
Smt. Shruti Patil Director , PIB & ROB said that a series of events and exhibitions are held by Field Units of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at Warangal, Nizamabad, Nalgonda beginning the mark of nationwide celebrations of the 75th anniversary of India’s independence as a part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ .
