Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (MRVC) is a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. Established in 1999, MRVC was created to implement rail infrastructure projects aimed at improving the suburban railway network of Mumbai, one of the world’s busiest urban rail systems. It undertakes projects to enhance capacity, safety, and commuter comfort under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP). MRVC works in coordination with Indian Railways and the Government of Maharashtra to modernize tracks, stations, signaling systems, and rolling stock.
