Parag Kumar Kakaty ACS posted as Additional Secretary – Revenue & Disaster Management
Shri Parag Kumar Kakaty ACS (1999), presently District Commissioner, Golaghat, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary – Revenue & Disaster Management Department. He will also hold the additional charge of Additional CEO, Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA).
The Revenue & Disaster Management Department plays a key role in land administration, revenue collection, and disaster preparedness across Assam. Given the state’s vulnerability to floods and other natural calamities, the department works closely with district administrations to strengthen disaster response systems.
The Additional CEO of ASDMA contributes to planning, coordination, and implementation of disaster risk reduction initiatives across the state.
