The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities (PDUNIPPD) in New Delhi has unveiled India’s most advanced foot care unit. This state-of-the-art facility specializes in diabetic foot management and offers comprehensive services including diagnosis, fabrication of customized insoles and the treatment of various foot deformities.
The inauguration of the FOOT CARE UNIT took place in the presence of Shri Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS) – Secretary, DEPwD, MSJE, Shri S. Rajeev Sharma (IFoS) – Joint Secretary, DEPwD, MSJE, Dr. Jitender Sharma – Director PDUNIPPD, Dr. Lalit Narayan – Deputy Director, and Sh. G. Pandian – Head of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Department.
