NLCIL India organises Vigilance Awareness Week 2017

NLCIL India Limited as part of its Vigilance Awareness Week -2017 celebrations, organized a Mini Marathon Rally involving Neyveli School Children to spread the social message on Vigilance Awareness to fight against corruption at  Neyveli,on 20.11.2017.

Shri T. Venkatasubramanian, IRSME, Chief Vigilance Officer, NLC India Limited, the Chief Guest of the occasion flagged of the Mini marathon in the presence of Shri N.Muthu, ED (HR) and Shri Venkatesan, Chief Manager,SBI, Neyveli Branch.

This Mini marathon, started from the Jambulinga Mudaliar statue at Double bridge and ended at  Gandhi Statue at Main Bazaar, Neyveli covering a distance of  2.5 Km. School Students numbering around 600 participated in this event and marched enthusiastically by carrying placards with slogans based on the theme “My Vision –Corruption Free India”.

At end of the marathon Senior Executives, employees and Students signed on the “Integrity wall” organized by Vigilance Department of NLCIL at Gandhi Statue, Main Bazaar, and Neyveli. Shri I.Nedumaran, DGM (Education) & Secretary, NLCIL Schools administered the Integrity Pledge to all participants before signing on the Integrity Wall.

The event was co-hosted by State Bank of India, Neyveli by providing T –Shirts to the participants. NLCIL management provided Caps, breakfast and health drinks in regular intervals to the students. Also, along with school children around 200 members of employees including senior officials and general public participated actively in the marathon.
