NLCIL as its endeavour to spread unity, communal harmony and festive cheer amongst the Neyveli Community joined hands with Indian Christian Cultural Association (ICCA) celebrated “Christmas Eve 2018” with full spirit on 15th  December 2018 at Lignite Hall, Neyveli.

Shri.V. Thangapandian, Director (Power) participated as the chief guest of the occasion. In his speech said that, the more one develops spiritually, the deeper becomes his or her love and compassion for humanity.  Sharing is an essential element of humanity. Every individual has to imbibe the message of loving, caring, sharing and respecting the all was preaching’s of Jesus Christ. he added,.

To mark the occasion, Shri V. Thangapandian cut the Christmas cake in the presence of Functional Directors of NLCIL, Shri R.Vikraman , Shri Prabhakar Chowki  and Rev. Fr.R.Joseph Paul, President, ICCA.

Indian Christian Cultural Association members sang various Christmas carols with glorious choruses. Students of HSS St, Paul Matriculation, St.Joseph Cluny Matriculation HS School, St Antony Matric HS School, Danish Mission School of Neyveli students presented thematic cultural programme, which includes a wonderful play on the story of X-mas, depicting the birth of Lord Jesus, in a unique and interesting manner

Rev.Fathers, Rev.Pastors, Rev.Sisters of various churches functioning in Neyveli along with large number of Christian community participated in the function.

NLC India, in order to promote communal harmony, is organizing various social functions, like Durga pooja, Bakrid, Onam,Pongal and  Ugadi etc, through active involvement of the respective social forums wherein representatives from various social organizations, Unions and Associations, senior officials and employees participated.
