Viswamukhi (A Center for Art, Culture, Literature & Media Vision) and KIT Univerisity, Bhuvaneswar has organized 4th Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan and Bahubhashi Kavya Sangosthi during 14-16 November, 2015 at Visakhapatnam. In the inaugural function of Conference Hon’ble Dr. K. Haribabu, MP, Vishakhapatnam had participated as Chief Guest. Shri Sarath Kumar Achcharya, CMD, NLC Limited and Shri Krishna Babu, CMD, Visakhapatnam Port Trust participated in the function as Guests of honour. Padma Shree Dr. Lakshmi Prasad Yarlgadda delivered the keynote address. The session was chaired by Convener of 2nd Sub-Committee of Parliamentary Committee on Official Language, Hon’ble Shri Prasanna Patsani, MP. While delivering his address at the inaugural session, which highlighted the importance of Hindi Language, NLC-CMD insisted to ensure the compliance of Sec.3(3),voluntarily, rather than mandatory, and appealed to one and all to carry out official work by providing the place for Hindi in the heart together with God. In the conference, about 70 delegates from various Ministries and Offices of Central Public Sector Undertakings, viz., NLC, Coal India, NHPC, NCL, MCL, Power Grid, ISRO etc. participated. During the Conference, experts discussed the Inter-Relation of Indian Languages, Use of Technical Words in Official Language, Scope for New Formats, Relation of Scripts and Languages in the context of Indian Languages, Globalization of Hindi and Indian Languages. During the Conference, NLC was honoured with “Vishwamukti Rashtriya Rajbhasha Samman- 2015” for effective implementation of Hindi as Official Language in NLC.
