Ms. Nisha IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2015) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports (Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse) in the M/o Youth Affairs & Sports at the level of Deputy Secretary for the period of five years .
Ms. Nisha, a distinguished officer of the Indian Administrative Service, has been appointed as the Private Secretary to the Hon’ble Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports. An alumnus of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, she holds a B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication from Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, where she graduated with distinction. Her strong academic background, combined with her administrative experience, has shaped her into a dynamic, visionary, and people-oriented officer.
Over the years, Ms. Nisha has served with dedication in multiple key assignments across diverse sectors. She began her career as Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation, where she contributed to critical national-level programmes. As Joint Magistrate and later Chief Development Officer in Badaun, she made a remarkable impact in rural governance, spearheading development projects with a focus on inclusive growth.
Her leadership as Vice Chairperson in Bulandshahr Urban Development Authority showcased her ability to implement modern urban planning practices, while her tenure as CEO and Secretary in the Labour Department highlighted her commitment to labour welfare and social justice. As District Collector and District Magistrate, she demonstrated administrative acumen, ensuring efficient land revenue management and responsive governance. Most recently, as Mission Director, Ayush, she has played a key role in strengthening health and wellness initiatives in Uttar Pradesh.
