Nationally renowned structural designer and visiting faculty, Jadavpur University, Prof. Biswajit Som, in his keynote address at the meet, emphasised that the future of construction lies in the usage of steel parallel flange sections. He exhorted the participants to increase the usage of these structurals in their construction and infrastructure building projects to provide better stability and strength to the structures.
