Ms Neelamani N Raju IPS (Karnataka 1983) has been appointed as Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG and IGP) Vice Shri Rupak Kumar Dutta, who retires on 31 October. Ms. Neelamani Raju hails from Roorkee in Uttarakhand.A native of Uttar Pradesh, Neelamani served in Karnataka for 10 years before going on deputation to the Intelligence Bureau in 1993.
