PIB News Update: As a part of Nationwide Awareness Campaign during ongoing ‘Construction Technology Year’, Central Public Works Department is organizing a National Seminar on “Emerging Trends in Public Architecture on September 18, 2019 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The Prime Minister had announced that April 2019 – March 2020 as the ‘Year of Construction Technology’ in a bid to increase the use of modern technologies in the construction sector. The seminar will facilitate knowledge sharing of the latest developments and capacity building in the field of Architecture design and planning in construction industry.
This Seminar will also give an opportunity to the participants to deliberate on latest developments and capacity building in the field of Architecture design and planning in construction industry. Setting benchmarks in the Construction Sector, CPWD will share its expertise and knowhow with the various Engineering Departments, builders and private agencies participating in the Seminar.
The Seminar will be inaugurated by Shri Hardeep S. Puri, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in the presence of Shri Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Shri Prabhakar Singh, Director General, CPWD. A press conference by DG, CPWD will follow thereafter.
