National Consumer and Disputes Redressal Commission opens two vacancies

The Department of Consumer Affairs, a division of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, is inviting online applications to fill two vacancies for Members in the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, an Appellate Authority established under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The Commission is headquartered in New Delhi.

Key Details:

  • Applications are accepted only online.
  • Qualifications, eligibility, salary, and terms of appointment are governed by the Tribunal Reforms Act and the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021.
  • A Search-Cum-Selection Committee will shortlist candidates based on qualifications, experience, and personal interaction for final selection.

Interested candidates are requested to apply online at jagograhakjago.gov.in/ncdrc by November 29, 2023. In applicable cases, a hard copy of the application and documents should also be submitted to the Under Secretary (CPU), Department of Consumer Affairs, New Delhi, by the same date.
