The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has launched “Special Campaign 3.0” with fervour, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and promoting cleanliness within the department and its 19 sub-organizations.
The campaign kick-started with a preparatory phase that took place from September 15th to September 30th, 2023. During this phase, objectives and targets were meticulously identified across various categories. DPIIT Secretary, Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, conducted a comprehensive review of the progress of the “Swachhata Hi Sewa” Campaign during a weekly Senior Officers’ Meeting, which was held in alignment with the preparatory phase of Special Campaign 3.0.
On September 26th, 2023, Secretary Singh administered the “Swachhata Hi Sewa” pledge to the officers and officials of DPIIT, emphasizing the commitment to cleanliness. In observance of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2nd, 2023, DPIIT officers and officials undertook Shramdan activities in the vicinity of the office. Additionally, an oath against the use of Single-Use Plastic (SUP) was administered to reaffirm the commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development. Safaimitras were also honoured for their valuable contributions to cleaning activities. A total of 47 activities were organized during this period.
The implementation phase of Special Campaign 3.0 began on October 2nd, 2023, with DPIIT actively addressing identified pending matters, including Public Grievances, Public Grievances Appeals, MP References, State Government References, Inter-Ministerial References, PMO References, and Rules/Procedures. This phase, set to continue until October 31st, 2023, focuses on achieving the highest possible resolution of the identified targets. DPIIT and its 19 sub-organizations are actively participating in this campaign with enthusiasm, aiming to ensure its success.
The Special Campaign 3.0 represents DPIIT’s commitment to operational efficiency, cleanliness, and fostering a culture of Swachhata within the department and its associated organizations.
