Dr. Nalin Shinghal presently Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Central Electronics Limited (CEL), has been given extension in tenure for a period of two years w.e.f. 22.02.2019. Dr Shinghal has worked with the Indian Railways in various capacities in Operations, Commercial & Marketing functions as well as with Concor where he has handled Marketing, Operations & IT.
Dr Shinghal has also worked with the Long Range Decision Support group of the Ministry of Railways. Prior to his current position he was with the Indian Railways Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) as Director Tourism & Marketing heading the Travel & Tourism business of IRCTC which is today providing a range of tourism products & services and is best known for its E-Ticketing services.
Dr. Nalin Shinghal has published a number of articles in leading national & international journals in the areas of Transport Economics & Logistics. He is also associated with various professional bodies in eminent positions.
