Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is a sector that is crucial for the country’s transformation and the government is undertaking a series of steps and reforms to facilitate further growth in it. In a series of tweets, Mr Modi said, the sector is receiving substantial impetus through Mudra Yojana which was launched on this day three years ago to give wings to the aspirations of citizens and harness the entrepreneurial energy among the youth.
The Prime Minister said, Mudra Yojana is furthering a spirit of enterprise and self-reliance among the youth and women. He said, a substantial number of its beneficiaries are women and youngsters from the SC, ST and OBC communities, which is extremely heartening. Mr Modi asserted that he will interact with the beneficiaries of the Mudra Yojana at his residence on the 11th of this month.
He urged people to share with him success stories of Mudra Yojana. The Prime Minister said, he would love to meet some of the friends from the world of social media who will share their stories.
