#IndianNavyEngagement | Commemorating Navy Day 2023, the Indian Navy is actively engaging with schools in the Delhi/NCR region through motivational talks. These sessions, organized by Naval Headquarters, facilitate direct interaction between officers from diverse streams/specializations and students. The primary objective is to raise awareness about the Indian Navy and the career opportunities it offers.
In September 2023, three distinguished officers, representing the fields of Aviation, Submarines, and Women’s Services, conducted sessions in nine schools. These schools include CRPF Public School (Dwarka), Modern Public School (Shalimar Bagh), Sachdeva Public School (Rohini), Daffodil Public School (Narela), GD Goenka Public School (Sarita Vihar), Maharaja Agrasen Model School (Pitampura), NK Bagrodia Public School (Rohini), DL DAV Model School (Shalimar Bagh), and Govt Co-ED Sr School (Dwarka). Additionally, the team visited the NCC Annual Training Camp at Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi.
The initiative aims to establish a direct connection with school children, providing them with insights into the navy’s ethos, lifestyle, and the diverse career opportunities it offers. This engagement serves to inspire and educate the youth about the rewarding prospects within the Indian Navy.
