Shri Mansukh Lal Mandaviya has assumed the charge of Minister of State, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways and Shipping yesterday i.e. 11.07.2016 at 12.30 p.m.. He is a BJP MP (Rajya Sabha) from Gujarat. Shri Mandaviya has been Member of various Parliamentary Committees like Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas, Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers, Select Committee of Rajya Sabha on the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Bill, 2013 and also National Welfare Board for Seafarers. Earlier he was Member, Gujarat Legislative Assembly from 2002-2007 and Chairman, Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation Ltd from January 2011 to March 2012.
Shri Mandaviya was born on 1st June, 1972 in Hanol in Bhavnagar district of Gujarat to Shri Laxman Bhai and Smt Shamuben. He was educated at Songadh Gurukul and Gujarat Agricultural University, S.K. Nagar, Dantiwada, Gujarat and is a Businessman, Agriculturist, Political and Social Worker.
Shri Mandaviya is married and has a son and a daughter.
