Andhra Pradesh Police Reshuffle | The Andhra Pradesh Govt has reshuffled 23 IPS Officers with immediate effect in Andhra Pradesh Police.
- Shri K R M Kishore Kumar IPS (1989) presently DG- Railways, AP appointed as Principal Secretary- Home Department, Andhra Pradesh .
- Shri P Sitharama Anjaneyulu IPS (1992) returning from Central deputation appointed as Transport Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh.
- Shri Damodar Goutam Sawang IPS ( 1986) who last week was given full additional charge of Director General of Police (Head of Police Force), has been appointed as Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Road Safety Authority.
- Shri Rahul Dev Sharma IPS ( 2010) Kadapa SP has been appointed as Group Commander of the elite anti-Naxal force Greyhounds.
- Dr Koya Praveen IPS ( 2010) has been appointed as SP- Government Railway Police (GRP) at Guntakal.
- Shri Vishal Gunni IPS ( 2010) presently SP, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh has been appointed as SP- Organisation for Counter Terrorist Operations (OCTOPUS), AP .
- Shri S V Rajasekhar Babu IPS ( 2006) presently SP- Guntur (Rural) district has been asked to report to the DGPs office.
- Shri Vikrant Patil IPS ( 2012) presently SP- Chittoor district has been transferred as DCP (Law and Order-1) in Visakhapatnam City.
