Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah has informed that The Ministry of Cooperation has initiated process for creating a National Cooperative database. Ministry has already started consultations with stakeholders on finalization of various parameters, procedures and process for inclusion in the database.
The proposed National Database may act as the main planning tool for Central Ministries, State Governments, Cooperative Federations, Cooperators and sectoral institutions like NABARD, etc. for cooperative sector.
