Indian Bureaucracy News, New Delhi, March 23, 2026 | Dr Kinny Singh IAS (AGMUT 2014), presently Administrative Member, Delhi Jal Board Delhi Administration National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCTD), is appointed as Deputy Secretary – Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, New Delhi, on central deputation basis for a period of four years under Central Staffing Scheme (order dated 23.03.2026).
Dr Singh is known for her dynamic administrative leadership and commitment to public service. Born on 12 February 1986 in Uttar Pradesh, she is proficient in Hindi and English. She holds a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.) from Nehru Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, University of Delhi, graduating with distinction.
Dr Singh has built a diverse career across health, district administration, personnel management, and public welfare. She has served in key positions in Arunachal Pradesh, including Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of East Siang, Mission Director of the National Rural Health Mission, and Special Secretary in Women and Child Development. Her work in these roles reflected strong governance capabilities in challenging terrains, particularly in health administration and grassroots development.
In Delhi, she has held several significant assignments, including Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate (West Delhi), Director-cum-Special Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, and Administrative Member of the Delhi Jal Board. She also contributed to personnel administration as Special Secretary in the Delhi Government.
Her excellence has been widely recognized through prestigious honors, including the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration and multiple state awards for electoral management and voter awareness initiatives.
