Shri Karnam Sekar presently Deputy Managing Director, State Bank Of India has been appointed as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer In Dena Bank with effect from the date of assumption of office and upto the date of his attaining the age of superannuation (i.e., 30.06.2020).
Shri Sekar joined the State Bank of India as Probationary officer on 9th December, 1983. He has extensive experience in SBI in Credit & Branch Operations. His earlier assignments include Branch Manager of the Corporate Accounts Group Branch, Mumbai (which was the largest CAG Branch in the Bank), and Manager (Treasury) at SBI Johannesburg, South Africa.
