The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a supplemental type certificate (STC) to Honeywell that enables installation of the VXP Vibration Monitoring and Rotor Track & Balance system on Airbus AS350/H125 helicopters, and allows real time notice of system alerts through the Sky Connect Tracker III Iridium satellite communications system.

Honeywell’s onboard VXP solutions are sensor-based monitoring systems that continuously monitor aircraft vibration data throughout the drive train, determine component health and pinpoint anomalies before they become catastrophic failures.

Our Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) solutions provide helicopter operators with actionable information that enables condition based maintenance. With HUMS, maintenance teams can anticipate mechanical failures, make better maintenance decisions and act when maintenance is necessary.
