Indian Bureaucracy News, Chandigarh, Dcember 05, 2025 | The Nayab Singh Saini government in Haryana has ordered the transfer of two Sub-Divisional Officers from Karnal and Kaithal to Ladwa and Sirsa — a decision that comes at a moment of heightened administrative attention to both regions. The move draws particular attention in Ladwa, where the chief minister’s public address on 4 December 2025 — coinciding with the announcement of the officer transfers — highlighted a renewed focus on accelerating infrastructure and development initiatives. Notably, Shri Anubhav Mehta, an HCS officer of the 2019 batch, returns to Ladwa as SDO, resuming a role he had previously held in 2021.His reappointment, set against the backdrop of expanding public works and strategic investments, suggests the administration’s desire to place experienced hands in jurisdictions, especially tier-II towns, now emerging as focal points of governmental priority.

Ladwa, just 18 km from Kurukshetra, is emerging as a high-growth hub, driven by government-backed infrastructure and social-sector initiatives. The momentum was highlighted on 4 December 2025, when Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini unveiled development projects worth ₹16.5 crore, focusing on health, education, and rural infrastructure. The Saini administration has renewed its focus on infrastructure development in emerging centres across Haryana. Shri Anubhav Mehta, an HCS officer of the 2019 batch, returns to Ladwa as SDO, a role he previously held in 2021. Key initiatives include upgrading the Community Health Centre to a 50-bed sub-divisional hospital, establishing a new government college at Ramsharan Majra (Babain), and improving rural pathways, village lanes, and community facilities. A planned HSVP residential sector, along with road widening and bypass projects, further enhances Ladwa’s appeal as a destination for future residential and plotted development.

Shri Anubhav Mehta HCS (2019), presently Sub Divisional Officer (SDO), Civil, Karnal, Haryana, is transferred and appointed as SDO – Civil, Ladwa, Haryana, with additional charge of Joint Director – Administration, Kalpana Chawla Medical College, Karnal, relieving Shri Pankaj Kumar HCS (2014) of the SDO Karnal assignment. He had previously served as SDO, Ladwa, in 2021.

Shri Ajay Singh HCS (2020), presently SDO, Civil, Kaithal, Haryana, is transferred and appointed as City Magistrate, Sirsa, Haryana.
