During the 2nd Trade and Investment Working Group (TIWG) Meeting in Bengaluru, several activities were organized to showcase the city’s cultural heritage and its status as India’s Silicon Valley.

A guided city bus tour called ‘The Bengaluru Story’ was arranged for the G20 delegates. The tour provided glimpses of the city’s rapid growth, its beautiful gardens, and the prominence it has gained as a leading technological hub. The delegates visited Bangalore Palace, a regal architectural masterpiece inspired by England’s Windsor Castle. The palace features turreted parapets, battlements, fortified towers, and arches. Its open courtyard symbolizes Karnataka’s rich cultural, historical, and musical legacy. The tour also included visits to the Museum of Art and Photography, Cubbon Park, and Vidhana Soudha. The bus tour concluded with a visit to the Mahatma Gandhi Statue, where a group photo session took place. ‘The Bengaluru Story’ was designed by the Karnataka Tourism Department.

The first day of the 2nd TIWG Meeting concluded with a cultural program followed by a gala dinner. The cultural program showcased Karnataka’s renowned cultural traditions and dance forms. Performances by Kalaanidhi Nruthya Mandiram, Space Kathak, and Shree Natya Niketan were included in the program.

The 2nd TIWG Meeting commenced in Bengaluru with the participation of over 100 delegates. Alongside representatives from G20 countries, delegates from invitee countries, as well as regional and international organizations, engaged in collaborative discussions aimed at accelerating global trade and investment.
