Dr Gaurav Uppal IAS (Telangana 2005), presently Secretary, Coordination (GoI Projects & CSS), Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi, has been transferred and appointed as Secretary – Finance & Planning Department; Ex-Officio Director General (DG), Telangana Remote Sensing Applications Centre (TGRAC), with additional charge of Managing Director (MD) – Telangana Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGMSIDC).
As Secretary – Finance & Planning under the Government of Telangana, Dr Uppal will oversee state budgeting, fiscal management, and development planning. As Ex-Officio DG of TGRAC, he will supervise geospatial and remote sensing initiatives supporting governance. Additionally, as MD of TGMSIDC, he will guide medical infrastructure development and procurement systems, strengthening healthcare delivery across Telangana.
