Indian Bureaucracy, New Delhi, June 22, 2025 | The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) has invited online applications for the post of Managing Director (MD) in India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL). The role, considered critical in spearheading infrastructure financing initiatives across India, is open to highly qualified and experienced candidates from the financial, banking, and government sectors.

The MD will be responsible for strategic leadership, governance, and administrative oversight of IIFCL, which plays a critical role in advancing India’s infrastructure through innovative financial instruments. Candidates must be below 57 years of age, possess a postgraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification, and have at least 25 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in top executive positions in relevant institutions.
The tenure is three years, extendable up to two more years depending on performance, with a pay scale of ₹2,05,400–2,24,400 (Level 16), in line with Managing Directors of Nationalised banks.
