The Logistics Division of DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, conducts weekly meetings with State/UT representatives to promote the utilization of the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan (NMP). The recent virtual review meeting for North Zone States/UTs, chaired by Special Secretary (Logistics) Ms. Sumita Dawra, highlighted the positive progress made. The meeting encouraged using the PM GatiShakti State Master Plan for area development, emphasizing a ‘Whole of Government’ approach to break departmental silos. The NMP aims to provide multimodal connectivity for socio-economic development, benefiting remote areas. States/UTs were urged to engage with State Administrative Training Institutes for further awareness about the SMP’s advantages.
