Shri Dewakar Goel presently posted as Executive Director, Airports Authority of India has been taken over as Director of Indian Aviation Academy on 20th December, 2016.
Indian Aviation Academy is a joint venture of Airports Authority of India (AAI), Director General of Civil Aviation(DGCA) & Bureau of Civil Aviation Security(BCAS) under Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. It is the premier Training & Research Institute of the country having affiliation with International bodies like International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO), Canada, Airports Council International(ACI), International Air Transport Association (IATA),) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) etc.
Prof.(Dr.) Dewakar Goel is a Science & Law Graduate with Masters in Business Administration. He acquired Post Graduate Diplomas in specialized field of Labour Laws from Indian Institute, Training & Development from ISTD and Personnel Management & Industrial Relations. He also acquired India-ICAO Fellowship and Ph.D. in Management under Dr.(Prof.) Sadhan Das Gupta of Calcutta University. He has authored 12 books on Management, Law & various other topics.
Prof.(Dr.) Dewakar Goel is well known visiting faculty of LBS, National Business Administration, Mussorie, Indian Institute of Public Administration(IIPA), IIMs & IITs. He is also the Advisory Board member of prestigious universities. Prof.(Dr.) Dewakar Goel is HR consultant of ICAO, Montreal, Canada and Human Performance Technologist with IATA, Geneva, Switzerland. Adding feather to his cap Dr. Goel is a Doctoral Research Examiner and Ph.D. guide also. The Indian Aviation Academy is looking for dynamic steps to be taken by the new Director especially when they are going to shift to the new world class campus situated at Vasant Kunj.
