First human trial of COVID-19 vaccine finds it is safe and induces rapid immune response

India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 218.79 Crore (2,18,79,83,976) today. More than 2 lakh (2,67,065) Vaccine Doses have been administered till 7 pm today. The daily vaccination tally is expected to increase with the compilation of the final reports for the day by late tonight.
