G B Rekha Banu IFS appointed Joint Director – Telangana Forest Academy
Smt G B Rekha Banu IFS (Telangana 2019), upon promotion to the Indian Forest Service of the Telangana Cadre, and presently posted as Deputy Conservator of Forests / Deputy Director, Telangana Forest Academy, Dulapally, has been appointed as Joint Director – Telangana Forest Academy, Dulapally, Telangana.
An officer of the 2019 batch of the Telangana cadre, Smt G B Rekha Banu has been promoted to the Indian Forest Service of the Telangana Cadre. She has been serving as Deputy Conservator of Forests and Deputy Director, Telangana Forest Academy, Dulapally.
The Telangana Forest Academy plays an important role in the training and professional development of forest personnel and contributes to capacity building within the Forest Department. Her present association with the Academy has provided her with experience in training administration and institutional management.
Following her promotion to the Indian Forest Service, Smt Rekha Banu has been appointed Joint Director, Telangana Forest Academy, Dulapally.
The new assignment places her in a senior institutional responsibility involving coordination of training and administrative functions. Her experience as Deputy Director of the Academy is expected to provide continuity and assist her in handling the responsibilities of the new post.
The appointment marks an important progression in her career and reflects the entrustment of a senior responsibility following her promotion to the Indian Forest Service.
