CII Goa is organising a conference to be held on 31 August 2018 in Goa on the topic of “Shipbuilding in Goa – Opportunities and Issues”.
The aim of the conference is twofold:
- To showcase the large shipbuilding and ancillary industry capability that exists in Goa
- To highlight the opportunity for this Goa based industry to capture new business especially as an outsource partner to Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL), and also as a result of the new opportunities created by the central government maritime initiatives i.e. Sagarmala Project, the focus on Coastal Shipping, and the projects being undertaken by the Inland Waterway Authority of India (IWAI).
