Gen Dalbir Singh, Chief of the Army Staff visited Jaipur based Headquarters of South Western Command and reviewed the operational preparedness .
Upon his arrival at Jaipur, the COAS was received and briefed in detail on the operational state of the Sapta Shakti Command by Lt Gen Sarath Chand, GOC-in-C, South Western Command. The COAS expressed his deep satisfaction at the excellent state of operational readiness as well as measures undertaken by the Command to face evolving security challenges, especially along our Western Borders.
