SJVN is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from 29th October to 03th November, 2018. The Vigilance Awareness Week is being celebrated every year and coincides with the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, known to be a man of high integrity and also remembered as Iron Man of India.
In its Corporate Office at Shimla Shri S S Negi CVO SJVN , administered Vigilance Pledge to the employees who gathered in large number. Sh. M.M. Verma, Chief GM read out the message of His Excellency the President of India. While Sh. Ravi Uppal, Chief GM and Sh. V. Shankranarayanan, GM read out the messages of Hon’ble Vice President and Union Home Minister respectively. The messages of Union Power Minister and Central Vigilance Commissioner were read out by Sh. Bijay Prasad, GM and Sh. Mukul Tirkey, Sr. AGM.
Similarly, at the project locations of SJVN viz Jhakri, Bayal, Hamirpur, Sunni, Bithal, and Buxar Heads of respective Projects administered the oath of Vigilance to the employees. During this week to spread awareness various programmes will be organized at all the projects and all the offices of SJVN. In addition to this declamation, lectures, slogan and poster making contests will be organized in the schools and colleges in an around project affected areas.
